SmartStreamer4 v0.2.1 GA release: CW Skimmer and WSJT-X, JTDX, or WSJT-Z Digital Modes
Hello Flex community,
After several months of beta releases, SmartStreamer4 has reached its first general availability release, v0.2.1. My thanks to everyone who tested the betas, reported issues, suggested enhancements.
SmartStreamer4 is a free, open-source (MIT) Windows app that runs alongside SmartSDR and connects your FlexRadio to external decoders:
CW Mode. Streams DAX-IQ audio into CW Skimmer (one instance per DAX-IQ channel), keeps Skimmer's waterfall locked to your panadapter, and wires the two together both ways: click a spot in Skimmer and your slice tunes to it, tune the slice and Skimmer follows. The app handles Skimmer's audio device and INI configuration for you, with a setup wizard for first-time configuration.
Digital Mode. Configures and launches WSJT-X, JTDX, or WSJT-Z per slice for FT8/FT4, automatically provisioning DAX RX audio, a SmartSDR CAT port, and isolated UDP reporting ports for each instance. Run several slices at once, each with its own decoder window.
Requirements: a 6000/8000-series FlexRadio with SmartSDR 4.x (tested against 4.1.5 and 4.2.x servers), DAX installed, and Windows. CW Mode needs a licensed copy of CW Skimmer; Digital Mode needs WSJT-X, JTDX, or WSJT-Z installed. The radio must be on your local network (SmartLink-only remote radios can't be discovered, and the app now tells you that instead of searching forever).
Highlights of v0.2.1 beyond the beta series: standard version numbering going forward, a full process cleanup when you exit (no orphaned decoder windows), better error reporting, release notes and project links right on the Help tab, and full third-party license noti

If you have a beta version installed, just click the in-app "Update Available" button or visit the github page to download the latest release:
The application can also be downloaded at my project website, along with other Ham Radio related projects:
There's nothing to install. Download the zip, extract the executable and run it. Connect to a radio, choose a mode and press Start. Walk thru the setup wizards and configuration pages, and review the build in Help/Project documentation if needed.
Bug reports and feature requests are welcome on the GitHub issues page.
