I have seen a few comments and video's promoting new HRD Logbook features particularly around the HRD Alert feature.

Then I found out that these new HRD Alert feature's only work as designed if you set your Radio in WSJT-X to Ham Radio Deluxe.

I was un-able to get WSJT-X hooked up using the Radio 'Ham Radio Deluxe', so I tried using Slice Master and that raised more issues that there is no need to go into here.

Earlier this morning (09/07/2026), one of the Senior HRD Support team members got me all sorted out.

The images below show the settings that allowed me to connect WSJT-X to HRD using the radio setting in WSJT-X 'Ham Radio Deluxe'.

Please note I have HRD V6.9.0.18172, WSTJ-X V3.0.2, SmartSDR V4.2.2 installed on Win 11 and in my case I have Port 8 in FlexRadio CAT.

It works a treat for me, it was worth getting out of my warm bed at 0400 for.

Cheers
