6700 Microphone

I have a RADIOSPORT RS55SL headphone that i bought from FLEX for my 8400 with the ACC-TRRS-MAE cable and it is working on the 8400. In order to have it working on the 6700 I bought a M-Y cable for Flex from DxEngineering to connect to the front 8 pin connector but it does not work….there's no audio with the following settings: BIAS off +20dB on MIC +ACC Off DAX Off MIC gain 50% PROC Nor MON 50% AM CARRIER 0 VOX 50% DELAY 35% DEXP 35% TX Filter 100 2900 TX EQU Off What could be the problem?

Try turning the BIAS ON. The RS55SL uses an electret Mic Element that requires the 3.3v - 5v BIAS.

If that does not work, check to see if you bought the proper mic adapter from DXE.
