Remote on / local on interactions

in SmartSDR for Mac
Just got my switch working and remote on is enabled. I am very happy. If I turn the radio On or Off with the power button (in front) vs my new remote switch, will i encounter any issues or inconsistencies. I will probably figure it out on my own but I thought I would ask. thanks!
