SmartSDR for Mac and ZeroTier bridge

I've set up a ZeroTier Bridge using the excellent instructions from Danny, K5CG. This is using a Raspberry Pi as the bridge interface. Everything seems to be setup correctly, but I can't connect with my Mac using SmartSDR. It doesn't discover the radio so I can't connect. I've also tried the IP Address method in addition to the discover. I can ping the radio's IP address.
Sometimes it will show the list, but I think that is after I've connected to the radio while connected to the same subnet locally. When using the bridge from outside the local network and I do see the list, when I try to connect, I get a timeout error.
Connecting with an iPad works just fine when using the bridge.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks
Ken
