Flex 8400 start up issue

I have had my new Flex 8400 for a couple of months now and loving it, learning about it's intricacies. I followed the set up and working instructions to the tee and had no issues. Turn on my power supply, push the 8400 start button and hold for a couple of seconds, wait for the radio to fully boot up with a solid green on the start button and then start the SDR on my computer. This had gone on flawlessly, but for 2 of 3 times. Normally it takes 30 seconds or so for the radio to boot, then you hear the fan start up, moments later you get the solid green. But what I got on those couple of times was a flashing green and the sound of a relay clicking, which did not stop. When that happened I pushed the start button again, forcing it to re boot and it started fine. What is going on here? Should I be concerned about it? Last thing I want to have to do is send this radio back.

Thanks to All

Take my advice to avoid any issues: turn on power supply and wait at least a minute for everything to power up. Press the start button only momentarily or else you could trigger a reset.

I also have a 8400 and had no issues. When I power up the 8400 I only briefly maybe a 1/4 second, press the power button. I never hold it in for 1 to 2 seconds. The 8400 then takes about 30 sec to fully power up and get the solid green power light. I've never had a power up issue.

Just a momentary press on that start button, as confirmed by Flex……Thanks Dave:-)
