Possible or way to record my own CW sidetone to OBS studio?

Hey guys, I recently traded my 7300 Icom for a flex 6300 and maestro unit. Im wondering if there is a way to record my transmitted CW signal using OBS? I have smartSDR captured for audio and video of the RX signals, but cant figure out a way to record my own sent signal, is this possible? Im running 3.10 firmware

    AJ,

CW sidetone for flex radios is only available afaik via headphone output of your flex or headphone out of maestro. If you use headphones then a splitter one for your headphone and the other for mic input to pc where you could use that as the input for the OBS software perhaps. ( I do not use OBS) That would of course input receive audio as well so delete the current DAX receive input that you are currently using for OBS to broadcast your 6300's receive.

If I remember correctly, if I have headsets plugged into my pc and have "PC" selected in SSDR , I can hear FT8 sidetone when I select monitor on SSDR and transmit but for whatever reason cw sidetone is not possible via SSDR and PC audio. Only via the headphone jack of the rig or maestro. Speaker jacks as well perhaps but I almost exclusively use noise cancelling headphones so I am not certain, but I imagine speaker jacks also provide cw sidetone.

I hope this helps with getting your OBS setup for cw sidetone.
