Mic for 8400 ( or suitable adapter to 4 pin XLR Heil ) ?

When I owned a 6400 I never did find an adapter for a 4 pin XLR Heil Elite Gold mic . I think the one Flex sold was discontinued . I don't have the eye sight or skills to make my own. I just did a new on-line search for an adapter that will connect the Heil 4 Pin XLR to an 8400 and found nothing . Perhaps I should get a new mic that plugs directly in to the 8400's PTT and Mic connector . Suggestions ?

I just spent an hour researching the issue and found ZERO mic or headsets that have an adapter that connect to a 6400 8400 . Heil's web site lists various ham manufacturers for matching cable with their mics, but NOT Flex. Am I missing something here ? Flex 6400/8400 mic connectors on the back of the radio fit only the Flex stock mic? Adapting cables are not available at all ? Now I am doubting the decision . Yes, I know the hobby has a do-it-yourself culture but I don't want to build my own cable for several reasons. .

I am using the same Heil mic.

Flex ACC-4PXLR-TRS, 4 pin XLR to 1/8"(3.5mm) TRS plug and RCA Male Plug .

Find it on Ebay. Hurry, there is one left.
