Control Panels

in SmartSDR for Windows

I prefer my "control panels" to be on the left side of the screen vs the right side..before switching to V4, it would stay on the left side with each start...now I have to manually move it to the left side with each start...I am sure I am missing something simple...but...?

    I am having the same issue here, for my setup, the panels on the left is preferable.
    They all go back to the right when SSDR is shutdown and restarted. Saving global profiles, etc. have not been successful in keeping it on the left. If the panel is popped out, it will stay popped out on SSDR restarts.
    This looks like a bug which I hope will be corrected soon.

    Running here a 6600 and SmartSDR 4.1.3 under Windows 11.

    I pop the control panel out as a separate window and drag it to the left of the Panadapter window. I prefer the controls on the left as well.

    We all are doing that…the issue is that you have to do that upon each restart of SmartSDR…in V3 and previous versions, it would stay wherever you put it…

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
