CW via paddle or key doesn't seem to be working anymore

Good day...
I've been away from my 8400 for a couple months due to work, and when I sat down to use it today, my CW paddles aren't working. The radio works fine on all other modes (tested USB and Digital), and even sending CW via CWX works fine. But nothing when using my paddles or a straight key. Tested both on another rig and they work fine (and this was working perfect when I used it just after Field Day).
I've checked that I have both 'Breakin' and 'Iambic' set properly, and I'm in CW mode. Trying to send dots or dashes doesn't do anything, almost like I don't have Breakin turned on.
Open to suggestions on what to try here. Thanks.

Hi Brian, are you sure that the key is plugged into the correct jack? Is TX set for the slice?

Hi Len, thanks for the comment. As noted, this was working up until now. No changes to the ports that it was plugged into. And yes, TX for the slice is enabled. Everything else works as it should, except no action from the paddles.0

Well, the hardware engineer in me should have known better. I decided to upgrade the software/firmware to 3.10.10 before going too far, and the CW keyer function is now working properly. See, it's NEVER the hardware! ;-)
I'm guessing one of the SOCs that handles the keyer port got into a state that wouldn't let me use it, and the firmware update cleared that out.
Issue resolved by software!0
