Two more weeks till Q4 of 2025! Who's excited about the possibility that the new Aurora radios could possibly start shipping? I know I am! While my Flex 5000A is doing it's best to hold down the fort, it knows that competition is fast ( hopefully) approaching. It even hinted the other day that a nice KPA500 and KAT500 would be a nice addition to the Shack and that it would drive it very carefully should I add them. Tempting, Tempting, Tempting

Let's guess when the new Aurora radios will start shipping.

Here's my guess, October _______ 2025, 2026, possibly a tiny bit later. Testing, validation and other necessary things can slow up full production. So, because this is new transmitter technology for the Amateur Radio market, it may take a while to get everything dialed in the way that Flex Radio ( and it's customers) want it to be before putting the new radios in the hands of us mere mortals. After all, there's much higher DC voltage floating around inside the new radios. I will have to remind myself not to be poking around inside without putting one hand in my pocket!

I'm waiting for the stork to arrive with the new delivery. Wonder if it will be an October B.D.?

It could happen. But, after reading the update, I am not too sure. I guess it will all depend on how soon the certification process completes. Maybe, Christmas time would be a good bet.
