Problem using N1MM voice keyer

Hi all,
I'm unable to get the voice keyer working in N1MM. I'm using an 8600 and a Maestro A.
Here are the symptoms:
- Headset and PTT footswitch work fine. I operated phone throughout the IARU contest.
- WAV file is specified in the N1MM functions for F1 (CQ).
- I can double-click on the WAV file and I hear the audio.
- Clicking on CQ (or pressing F1):
-- I see a break in the panadapter as if it is transmitting.
-- N1MM says it is transmitting (shows the orange indicator).
-- Tuner Genius shows transmit, but zero output.
-- I don't hear anything in the headphones, despite having Monitor enabled with adequate volume.
Here are my settings:
N1MM Configurer:
- SO2R selected
N1MM Radio 1 settings:
- "PTT via Radio Command SSB Mode" selected (no other checkboxes selected)
N1MM Radio 2 settings:
- "PTT via Radio Command SSB Mode" selected (no other checkboxes selected)
N1MM Logger+ Audio Playback settings:
- "SO2R: Single Soundcard L/R" selected
- "DAX Audio TX" selected
- "Internal Radio Codec" checkbox selected
Maestro:
- DAX button is selected
- Headset is selected in the TX profile (and mic works properly with PTT footswitch)
What am I missing? Thanks for any suggestions you have!
(I would attach screenshots, but I apparently don't have permission to do so.)
