Has anyone else got this problem. Im noticing the Rx Equalizer doesnt seem to work. I normally have it on, but turning it off has no effect. Also adjusting the controls on it doesnt seem to do anything. It sounds like it is on all the time, which is ok. I have rebooted the radio and the pc but still the controls seem to have no effect.

Mode doesnt matter ssb or cw

Just to contribute to this, I'm seeing a version of this problem too and it doesn't appear to be related to windows updates. After updating to v3.9.18, if I start my Maestro first, then SSDR on my PC in MulitFlex mode, everything works as expected. But if I start SSDR first, then the Maestro, the RX EQ in just the Maestro doesn't work. Weird. I have a ticket in and am waiting to hear from Tim.

    Thanks for comments Russ

Another day, just started 8600 and SmartSDR and equalizer not working again. Restarted SmartSDR and didnt fix.

Turned off SmartSDR and booted Maestro. Rx Eq isnt working there either. Turning on or off has no effect on audio.

    Update

I just did a total reset of the 8600 and Rx Equalizer controls have no effect, on SmartSDR so it isnt working.

Also checked the Mac and the equalizer controls arent working there either

Man, so frustrating. Might be worth submitting a ticket Wayne ? Others have reported problems with the RX EQ too so it might be helpful.

    Hello Wayne,

I have 8600M and using OSX version of the Smart SDR and v 3.9. RX equalizer works great in my concept, I'm new Flex user and have found it very usefull especially on 160m band. Weak RX signals can be "boosted" significantly when set properly.

I hope your situation will be solved soon. Take care.

    Best regards,
    Henkka
