Flex 6500 Network Oddity, it is working but weird?

I have a Flex 6500 and 6600 on my network.

Both have a static address's set on the Flex's

Both have port forwarding and that is working as intended for smartlink

They are numbered 192.168.2.65 and .66

They are running on a Ubiquiti Dream Router 7 with newest firmware and then a USW Lite 8 switch.

The weird part.

The 6500 reports as 172.30.1.1 on the ubiquiti software, shows active a indication, all other ip scanners Ive tried, Advanced Ip Scanner, Angry IP Scanner, LanScan on a mac etc show it as 192.168.2.65

It (ubiquiti) network software doesnt show the 6500's .65 address, but does show the 6600 at .66

If I Factory Reset, it will be active on 172.30.1.1, and I need to go there to set the static address, even though the router wants to give out 192.168.2.x addresses.

Its odd, it works after i put in the static I need, port forwarding and smartlink works with the static address…

Just curious if anyone else has seen this weirdness?

Could be, likely is the ubiquiti software, but they haven't heard of any thing like it…
