High Frequency Roll Off in AM Mode

I have an issue with my Flex 6600 TX on AM Mode. When I run TX BW of 50-5000 or 50-6000 Hz the RF energy always rolls off significanly at about 4000 (and above) despite forcing an EQ curve that purposely boosts the highs in the range of 4000-6000 hz. I have experimented with both the internal TX EQ and also my outboard EQ. Using the EQ to boost highs dramatically, yet energy above 4000 always falls off precipitously. I also tested this on SSB and actually same behavior (not that I would run that wide on SSB). Has anyone experienced the same ??? SSDR Firmware version 3.8.21 and latest SmartSDR for Mac client, 2.9.70 Thank You in Advance, Dan de WA1QZX
