Remote cold boot

I now have 4 FlexRadios (2x 6000 and 2x 8000) in my system, 3 of them at remote locations. I have access to the radio "REMOTE" inputs and also the AC to the main 12v supplies at each location via IP switches.
Upgrading to 3.9.18 suggests a cold boot is required.
Cold boot instructions say to power down using the front panel switch. Physically visiting all the sites would be difficult. Is it sufficient to "power down" using the remote input and then turn off the power supplies for a few minutes?
