PGXL Grounding?

Options

I ordered a PGXL, and now waiting for it to arrive. I am looking at the PGXL User Guide. I do not see a grounding lug on the PGXL?

    Hi Kent,

Mine is several years old now but it does have a ground lug on the back, lower left corner (looking at it from behind). I'd be surprised if they'd revised the design and removed it in the interim so yours will probably have the same.

I copied that from the 4O3A website and that's where mine is.

    Hi Again Kent,

After looking at the image Geoff posted above I physically checked my PGXL (the back of which I haven't actually looked at for who knows how long) and sure enough the the ground lug is actually on the UPPER left side, not the lower - but it is there.

Geoff's image looks like a 3-D rendering rather than a photo to my eye which might explain why it doesn't show it. On mine, the lug is above the power connector a bit. That doesn't change anything but I wanted to be accurate.

By the way, you're going to love that PGXL. As far as I'm concerned it's the best power amp ever made for the amateur market though there are trades with all of them of course.

(edit: just saw Geoff added another image which shows the lug - excellent)
