How to post pictures ?

How can I insert pictures into a "Community" post ? I see other posts have pictures, but I can't seem to figure-out how to paste a picture into a post here ? I have tried different browsers, Windows, and Mac OS ? Note: I was able to post pictures into a Help Desk ticket on this website...

    Copy the picture and paste it in, just click in the message window and use Ctrl+V on your keyboard or right click and paste.

    Ok, I have tried that in many ways on both Windows and Mac OS. I was able to paste a picture into the Flex Radio helpdesk page. It is something weird with this “community” page.

    I've done it many times so it does work.

    Use a image upload site and just paste the links as a last resort.

    Ok… I have a master’s in computer science and I am an engineer — this is not “user error”. I will move on… Thanks for your help.

    The Community page should also allow picture insert by clicking the second icon in on the bottom of the Comment window. It should access your File Explorer for you to navigate and pick your picture.

    I have just used the snipping tool in Windows then pasted this in fine.

    @stallcup I think the issue is that the forum software hands out privileges based on activity. Once you have made more posts or comments you will be able to do more things like posting pictures.

    In the meantime, please feel free to send me an email with the pics, and I will post them on your behalf. You can find my email address in my QRZ page.

    I am at Hamvention, so my responses will take longer than normal…

    Ok... that explains it. It would be helpful if this was explained somewhere (assuming I didn't miss it). Maybe an error message when attempting to add a picture would help too. I am trying to get VarAC to work with my 8400. This is just one of many problems along this epic journey :smile:

    I have VarAC working with my 6400, so it should just be a matter of getting everything set up right in your environment. I'm not much help being away from home right now, but when I get back next week, I can share my setup.
