If your referring to CW Side tone and if your running remote away from the Radio then YES there is NO side tone as it is sent on the local radio Speakers, This is one of the draw backs to running CW remote but there are a couple ways around this, One is the "WinKeyer", a Computer Software Program/with a RS-232 Port to connect the Key to, and the other is to build a "MORCONI" which for me the MORCONI which uses a TEENSY 4.1 with Ethernet Micro Computer, and a hand full of parts or you can buy one pre-built is the BEST way to go because you can customize it as much as you want, these will generate a side tone locally and the MORCONI can have 8 memories and works with several different smart Keyers or straight Keys.
