Problem with Ant 1 and 2 on Flex 8600
I recently recieved my 8600. When I hook an antenna to Ant 1 or Ant 2 i see nothing in the display. WHen I hook it to RX-A or B I see the signals i expect. I also can transmit and MEM and ATU are greyed out. The slice has the TX selected. On my 6500 everything works fine.

Yes, open a Help Desk ticket. Your problem is similar to what I had with my new 8600M. I ended up having to download a image file to a USB flash drive and then connecting it to a USB port on the back of the radio. Then I followed the instructions I was given to re-image the radio. Once that was done everything worked as it should. It is possible that you are having the same problem. The Help Desk will help you get it corrected. ( you can try a Factory Reset and see if that will work. But, doing the reimaging helps insure that there are no other problems that haven't cropped up yet. )

James,
Thanks. Good to know the solution might be that simple. I did try the factory reset and it had not effect.
