8400M availability

I ordered an 8400M and ATU on June 2, 2024. As of today, May 2, 2025 nothing. Got a reply from an inquiry about 2-3 weeks ago that I should hear something in the next week, nothing. But almost everyday I see posts from people who say they ordered within the last 3-4 months and are receiving their M model radios. I understand there have been supply and production issues, but when I see others receiving their radios, who ordered well after I did, I am puzzled. My current 6400M is having display issues so I would like to send it in for repair, before they run out of replacement display modules, but I'm hoping to get a replacement radio before i give up the one that is at least mostly working. Have been waiting for 11 months, am I approaching a new record? Fred, K0FG

I ordered a 8600M May 21, 2024. Received the invoice April 11, 2025. The radio shipped Monday April 28th and arrived here on Thursday May 1st. I would expect you will receive your invoice soon.

I sent my deposit in March,and already got an invoice to complete my purchase. An error maybe?
I been trying to contact Flex since I really do NEED to speak with someone in sales so I can get my purchase completed. We'll 2 phone calls and 1 e-mail,and 3 days later not a reply back. I am getting a bit disappointed. I hope this is not normal practice.

Hi Mike, the Flex staff are all focused on Hamvention in Xenia. I got an email stating that response times could get long as there is only a skeleton staff in Austin right now.

I see from your QRZ page that you live in Goodrich. I have friends in Zap. We hit Sakakawea (**** Bay) every year to fish for walleye with them - always a great time!
