Hi All - I am looking to stick an external temp sensor (DS18b20 conected to Ardiuno) on my 8400 at the remote site. Just wondering - based on experience - when a 8400 (assuming same heat signature as 8600) gets hot - which surface gets hottest - Front, LHS, RHS, Back, Top, Bottom etc. Also is there is a particular spot on said surface where is that.?

I'm aware that the unit has it's own internal thermal management and I believe node red maybe can poll that etc also but a key condition of putting the unit at my mates shack is that I have a crude temp shutdown (external power off to all elements of station) hence the desire to sense temp on the hottest surface.

This location will hit temp extremes of 48deg C - (around 118F) and the unit will be in a shipping container(albeit with airflow).

Thanks in advance
