New 8600M will not Autostart previous working version of SmartSDR on the front panel

I think I set a record for me today. I just received my new 8600M today. First I had the Slice limit reached message. Found out it is a known issue that is fixed in v3.9 coming out soon. Later on I noticed that I am unable to get the radio to skip the version chooser screen as it would with my 6600M when starting up. I get a error message on the screen to select Autostart the last working version. I went ahead and opened another Help Desk ticket since I closed the first one in anticipation of a fix for the other problem. I did a search here on the Community and didn't find an error message like this one.

A full Factory reset fixed the problem.

    James…Thanks for reporting the fix.

Many folks don't bother sharing what worked for them.

    I appreciate knowing the solutions.

You are welcome. I too appreciate seeing solutions to different issues. Sometimes, it makes a difference between opening a Help Desk ticket and fixing the problem and moving on to something else.
