Character shaping winkeyer

Hello,

the Problem. I have set for cw WINKEYER **** 1. I can also use it to send texts from my logbook program. But the characters come almost without spacing, so spaces are obviously not recognized.

I can also enter several spaces in my texts, but these are not taken into account by the keyer when sending, my other RIGs (K4+ic 7619) take these spaces into account. This looks in the text so that there is also a larger pause if there are many spaces in a row, unfortunately the FLEXkeyer does not do that. In the K1EL WINKEYER this also works, for additional pauses the character | (7C hex) is sent to the winkey. This does not seem to be integrated in the Flex programming. Since you cannot change the character formatting in Flex, it would be good if characters | (7C hex) were in the program, as the characters are sent very close together in a text output. Or how can you set it so that there are standardized pauses between the characters?

or does anyone have a better solution?

tnx 73 de Peter DM2DZM
