How to Recover from Failed Installation of AG Firmware v4.1.18?

I am reconfiguring my Flex6600 "Dream Station" after upgrading to a new WIN11computer. I have been following the updated instructions written by Ken Wells featuring Antenna Genius v4.1.16. I am using SSDR v3.8.23, PGXL v3.8.9, TGXL v1.2.11, and AG v 4.1.18, which I was upgrading from v3.1.5.

All went well until I attempted to use AG Utility v4.1.8 to upgrade the AG firmware to v4.1.8. The AG Utility now opens with the message "There are currently no AG devices available. Please make sure that your AG device is turned on and connected to your local network." The AG was turned on and the ethernet connection lights showed both LAN connection green and incoming info yellow.

Reading the User Manual v4.1 suggests I have "bricked" the AG. Please advise that this is correct or not. It has instructions for Using DIP7 to reinstall firmware and DIP8 to reset AG settings to default and IP settings to DHCP.

If in fact I need to recover from a "bricked" AG, do I follow instructions for both DIP7 and DIP8 given in the User Manual v4.1?

Any other comments you might have related to my problem would be appreciated, too.
