Flexible Equalizer | Flexible Filter

Member ✭✭

The current equalizer isn't suitable for properly adjusting a microphone. Its fixed frequencies, especially in the high range, aren't sufficient for a transmit bandwidth of 3 kHz. I spent hours trying to adjust the internal EQ with various high-quality microphones. The feedback in QSOs was really bad.

It also lacks flexible filters like lowpass, highpass, low shelf, high shelf, bandpass, and notch, which I would have liked.

I've included screenshots of my previous SDR software, "EESDR2," as an example of a really good equalizer and filter to show what I mean. EESDR2 had a few other good features that I miss.

I think the current audio options somewhat devalue the great Flex-8600M and SmartSDR, which shouldn't be the case. The audio section is very important and should be given a similar level of importance to the other excellent features in Flex.

I currently have to use my external 12-band EQ from UR6QW (via balanced TRS jack) to get reasonably good audio.

Best regards!
