If the 3 flashes are red, this likely identifies a 'boot failure' which may be a failing SD card.
Fortunately, Flex Help Desk is really good at diagnosing, sending out a new card and installation is a snap.

Case Closed. I submitted a Help Desk ticket. I got a prompt response and followed the procedure carefully including wait times. I am now 100% operational after making a few QSO's, shutting down, and restarting. Subsequently did some more contacts with success.0

I want ot comment but Len was faster. I had same issue and was easy solved by replacing the card with a new one. Still love my 6500 :-)
