SmartSDR/SmartLink/Maestro usage by visually impaired operators

Hello all in the community:

I am the sysop for our local Amateur Radio Club (The Tampa ARC) who operates two Flex Radio 6XXX series remote transceivers. We now have a member that has become visually impaired and can no longer use the system either locally or remotely.

I am looking for resources, ideas and/or suggestions for the operation of Flex Radio transceivers by Visually Impaired hams both in a local environment or remotely via SmartLink. The priority in this regard is remote operation as the user, obviously, can no longer operate a motor vehicle to travel to our clubhouse.

While we mainly have PC's available, I can accommodate MacOS software if a better solution can be found under that OS. I also have a Maestro B that I can apply to this need if the best solution involves hardware knobs and switches.

What's out there for Visually Impaired hams to use Flex gear? Who is using Flex gear in this manner today? What are best practices?

Thanks in advance for your input.
