CW macros in SmartSDR for MAC

Hi all, I am new to the Mac, so there may be a simple answer. The 7.2.3 in the manual for the Mac shows that you can allocate function keys to trigger the CW, PSK, RTTY, or voice macros. My version 2.9.55 does not have an option to allocate function keys. Has it been removed, or do I have a setting wrong somewhere?

thanks ZL3DW

three screen one is CWX macro builder then there si CWX macro buttons and final cwx viewer with live send section

this is short example of all three … but really only need execution button and viewer/send live

this example does not show Function key setting for macro as this is how i normally use cwx but you can assign keyboard function key to each of the cwx button/messages…this would the require to hit fn#1 would require you to hit 'fn' on the lkeyboard and the number '1' key at the same time…

i find it easier to use the mouse to touch the execution buttons

I think the Mac guide may be referring to the physical function buttons on the Maestro and M models—but am not certain.

Thanks but the image in the manual shows the setup screen with F1 and F2 function keys. I don't have that option on my setup screen.

I found that you can use the Keyboard Shortcuts to send CW macros. They can be assigned to F13 to F19 and many other keys, so the problem is solved.
