Remote 220VAC and 12VDC Power ON/OFF info needed

Member ✭✭

Im going to place the 6600, TGXL and PGXL in the home garage (PC in remains in the shack) and run an ethernet cable to a 4-port ethernet switch there. My question is: What's the latest best solution to power ON or OFF the 6600 and TGXL on the 12V power supply, and the 220VAC power to the amp? I've seen somewhere that the 6600 can be left with 12V power always on and use an internal switch. However, since I also have to power the tuner, I will have to switch the 120VAC to that 12V power supply anyway. So, will the 6600 turn on (along with the tuner) when the 12 DC supply turns on via the 120V power activation?
