Antenna Genius Updated from 3.1.5 to 4.1.8 Fails to Connect

I'm 2,000 miles from home on vacation. Decided to upgrade my AG, TG, and PG apps, seemed to go OK. Now can't connect to AG. When I start up AG is shows ver 4.1.8 but won't connect. I get a message saying "target actively refused the request"

Have read the manual and community entries - no smiles yet.

To do a reset you need to be with the switch as it requires moving the dip switches. That would be the first thing to do but a bit hard 2000 miles away!

Have you tried re-installing the firmware?

going from version 3 to version 4 requires a factory reset and sometimes doing it twice.

The firmware is completely different so the configuration from v3 is not compatible in v4

A semi-unrelated question. I am running Antenna Genius Utility & Firmware 4.1.16, which I copied off the 403A website. The FLEX website has 4.1.8 - which is more up-to-date? I would assume X.X.16, which is greater than X.X.8, but then I don't understand the disconnect with the Flex website.

4O3A has a beta programme running with testers so will release versions when it's happy with a particular version. It's then up to Flex to choose if they want to advertise that as the most recent version. I believe they carry out their own testing and when happy they have version xx as the one they suggestion to use.
