Tuner Genius & Power Genius are not communicating with new radio

just installed newly received Flex 8600. All went well through the transition from 6600M to the 8600. Until I finally reached the final test of the tuner and amp.

I have checked and reset everything several times. Am I missing an important step in the transition. Any assistance will be appreciated.

I will only bring up the obvious. If you have already done it then sorry for the issues…. Within both the TGXL and PGXL Software did you do the Device Setup/Settings then in each one Select the "FlexRadio" Tab. Be sure that you have selected the "new" Radios Serial Number. Select Save and for just one last thing… Reboot all components. No really necessary but I do it for "just in case"

    Richard,

Wow! Would you look at that? You are a wizard!!!

After 3-4 hours of setup and being amazed how smoothly it went, I guess I was brain dead or something but I never even remembered that setup was there.

I can't tell you how much I appreciate your jumping in and clearing the pathway to success.

Thank you very much. Hope you have a great week. I surely will.

John, No problem…. Been through the "Fog Of New Toys" myself. Just when you mentioned the lake of communication between the 8600, TGXL and PGXL it really could be only that reason. Glad I was able to help and have fun with the new toy. I myself moved from the 6700 to the new 8600 and am VERY happy with my upgrade.

    Great DX
