V3.8.21 just dropped

Powered on my 6600M and got the new version download window. It only shows one change in the Change Log. Something about the front panel on the M model radios loosing connection. I hadn't experienced that with v3.8.20. But, I did read a couple of posts mentioning it. It took a while to install. But, no issues so far. I am going to leave my radio on overnight to see if anything crops up.

Up-loaded and all safe and sound. As you say, it took quite a while.

    6600 Update to v3.8.2.1

I just upgraded my 6400 to 3.8.21. Update was smooth and uneventful. While I have not tested it extensively, everything seems completely normal. All my utilities and devices (TeensyMaestro) are working as before.

After about 3 hours of continuous running ( receiving) I got a pop-up window saying that the front panel lost connection to the radio. ( not exactly those words but close) I decided to roll back to v3.8.20. After everything was finished. I powered off the radio and power supply. Waited a few minutes and powered on the power supply and after a few minutes, the radio. It has been running ( receive only) for a little over three hours now. So far, no noticeable problems. I may try reinstalling v3.8.21 later today on the off chance something I did or didn't do, caused the error I had.

Reinstalled v3.8.21 a couple of hours ago. Powered down after installation completed. Waited a few minutes and disconnected the power supply. Waited a few more minutes and reconnected the power supply. Turned the power supply on, Waited a couple of minutes and powered on my 6600M. Booted up just fine. I had some errands to run so I left the radio running and took care of a few things. Just got back home and had lunch. Checked on the 6600M and so far, it is still running fine. I will let it cook for a few hours and see if anything happens. Maybe, what happened earlier was a glitch.

V3.8.21 has been running flawlessly all day and I just powered it off. Maybe, I didn't lean far enough to the right when I first installed it!
