Adaptive Pre-Distortion (APD) to be included in a v3 release

APD will be in a future 3.x release and free for 8000 series owners

This seems to have gone unnoticed and I wanted to bring attention to this as I think this is a great gesture from FlexRadio to it's user base. Since the 8000 series is now shipping, they did say that APD will be free when it's ready for 8000 users and will not require a paid software upgrade. Now we know how that is going to be done. APD will be included in a 3.x release and since latest release (v3.8.20) is included in new 8000 radios, APD will be free. FlexRadio is demonstrating they are standing by what they said they would do and kudos to that !

We all kinda knew this but this discussion was started for the benefit of the newcomers to FlexRadio and this online community.

    Good information…thanks.

    I'd also like to get an update on availability of APD "samplers" for use with the 8000 and a non-Flex amplifier.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
