Screen Saver Maestro & M model

This has been brought up before, I haven't seen it as a new idea to vote on so I'll bring it up again. In my case I have a Maestro on nightly at my nightstand as I often wake up through the night. With tinnitus listening or not listening to rag chews has helped and when can't sleep, some rag chew will either put me back to sleep or I learn something, lol. I'm not a sleep walker but I am a sleep lurker, sandbagger.

Problem is the display dimmed down to the minimum is still too bright and though putting a cloth over the screen is simple, it inhibits air flow and in the morning Maestro is quite warm.

I tried using a laptop instead, screen saver works fine but finding my glasses/mouse to change VFO or band requires too much of a bother sometimes. Maestro is quick and easy, so perfect solution for me would be a screen saver, or increase the dim range of the display. I can only imagine to accomplish this and work with all variations of the Maestro the M models would not be an easy task since some used a tablet and nowadays it's a dedicated display.

As a sleep sandbanger, a Maestro screen saver is high on my wish list, much higher than squelch was. One can only hope.

If you too are a fellow sleep sandbager or leave your Maestro, M-model on for long periods of time and would find a screen saver of value, please vote for this feature addition.
