An annoying problem

I have had the pleasure of using my new Maestro "C" as one of the early shipments.
My microphone connection (FHM-3) is via the adapter cable provided by Flex. All systems worked correctly until recently. The transmitted audio had interruptions. You might know this had to be a problem just when I was to use it at a special event station.
The problem: That 4 circuit plug was not making proper contact in the socket. I was just one step away of preparing to send the Maestro "C" back to Flex.
Upon careful examination of the plug on the adapter cable, I discovered the plastic shell had migrated closer to the tip of the connector preventing it from adequately entering the socket. Now one must insert the connector by carefully pushing the cable to the point that insures proper insertion. Great amounts of frustration solved. Fault, slipping plug shell.
I hope this story will help someone else that may have the same problem
