PGXL set up problem

I am having trouble with setting up a new PGXL.

Cabling is done. The computer, radio and PGXL ethernet cables are connected to a switch and on to the router. They all get IP addresses and I can ping them all.

I have set the amplifier like this

But the PGXL Utility shows this:

See that PTT is manual and not the radio. The band does not change with the radio. FRStack does not detect the amp. I can command the amp into operate mode using the Utility but there is no RF output.

I expected to see a new panel appear in SSDR for the amp but there isn't one.

To say I am totally lost is an understatement. Please help. I could have opened a Help Desk Ticket but I don't want to bother Flex for something that is, I hope anyway, something simple.

Erik.

I bought the PGXL from WiMo in Germany in their Black Friday sale. Someone else who also bought the amp in the sale read my post and kindly emailed me. He initially had the same problem after his amp arrived yesterday.

He had managed to get the solution earlier today which is to forget trying to use the PGXL Utility to set the configuration and to do it from the amp's front panel. Hey Presto, thankfully everything is now working. What luck that someone knew of the issue otherwise I'd have had a rather stressful time.

Even though Flex indicated that help would be delayed, Tim replied very quickly. He also fixed the problem for me. Thank you Tim.

Hi Erik, I have had this a couple times. It was resolved by turning off the mains switch on the back of the amp.

Hi Bill - ok so I did that but on powering up the problem is the same. So I am still stuck.

The main issue is fixed (see above) but I still have another problem.

In the PGXL panel in SSDR, when transmitting, I do see any reading for forward power. I do see a reading for temperature. I do see these readings in the PGXL Utility. What do I need to do to get the PGXL panel working correctly?

Hi Erik, I would submit a helpdesk ticket.

The Tune Power and RF Power sliders look very low. Turn them up.

Thanks Bill but whatever the output from the PGXL, the Utility shows it just fine (e.g. 300W, 500W, 800W) but the PGXL panel does not register anything at all for forward power. I have taken Len's advice to open a Ticket. Thankfully this issue is not a vital one because the automated reply from Flex advised no help is available until next week.

Could we please make it policy that when there is a solution to a problem that the solution is posted?

Aside from allaying the suspense, others may find it useful.
