Spot colors

Is there any way to ensure that the color of spots on the Flex 6400 tracks/views every worked and every needed station from the N1MM log during a contest? Can I have 2 separate colors for the stations that never worked in a band (red color for needed), and for stations, I don't need (grey for those already worked) ? How can I give this information to Flex radio ?

Probably not because N1MM, being archaic and not Flex aware, has no way to interface with the Flex API. Someone here might have info to prove me wrong.

You can interface N1MM with SDC but then as a default you get a color on the Flex Panorama for unworked stations and when worked and turned grey in N1MM they disappear from the Panorama for that band. No sense in cluttering the screen with stations already in the contest log. You can set SDC further to get colors for multipliers etc if you want to go beyond the default.

But if you are going to do that, better is to use SDC Contest and have a fully functional suite that is Flex aware and does so much more than N1MM.

Below is an example where Spots are unworked and disappear when worked in SDC Contest.

    Dear Erik,
As I can understand, the N1MM database (valid registered contacts) does not cooperate with FLEX to capture them in the FLEX panorama as WORKED or NEEDED QSOs. Right?
Much less be able to capture multipliers (!)
So, the solution is to look for another contest log that might do that—if, of course, such a thing exists and can be done.
Obviously, the Win-Test by F5MZN won't do it either.
I haven't tried SDC Skimmer. But it's a good opportunity to try it out.
Thank you Erik for the answer.

Hello Savas - yes correct, N1MM cannot do it without help from a Flex compatible program such as SDC. Win-Test will have same issue.

Do try SDC. In my document

there is a section about interfacing N1MM with Flex radio SSDR. SDC also has its own Contest module (for registered versions) as well as CW/RTTY skimmer, Panorama control, automatic AGC-T and so on. Yuri UT4LW is the author and mastermind and he can answer any questions you have.
