Will a Flex 6600 be compatible to connect a PreppComm MMX Zero to it? And, are there special instructions to do so from Flex Radio Manuals?

According to their web page, you only need a key in jack and a phones out jack on the radio. The Flex has both, so it sounds like it is compatible.

  • Thanks! I'll proceed with the Zero

    Hello mdestabrook,

Did this work out for you?

Can you describe your configuration and observations?

  • Thanks Segrest,

I did purchase the MMX Zero...and I do understand how to set up the 6600 Flex for CW operation...; but the physical connections to the Flex 6600 is another thing..; I have asked the PreppComm Community to expound on what connections go where on the 6600...; the Flex Connections are via RCA …; the PreppComm Zero are all 3.5mm plugs and the plugs are Stereo but some stems are left off to make the connections Mono so I am purchasing 3.5 mm plugs that I can rewire to meet the in and out connections to the 6600..once I have that I have no clue what revised RCA plug goes where on the 6600? can you help? I have all sorts of photos and PDFs on how the plug configurations should work...I feel comfortable with that!...; but not where they go on the 6600 radio.
