New to Mac SmartSDR -cannot transmit

Hi,

Just downloaded Mac SDR…works great…actually receives great, but I can't figure out how to transmit…when I key the mic, no RF output…any ideas? thanks, John K6VFR

First thing I’d check is to make sure DAX is not enabled when trying to use the MIC.

Read (reread) the manual carefully. There are so many possible ways that are disallowing keying. Input source selection, Power output setting (global and local), modulation type, microphone type selection, bias, hardware connection. blah blah blah. The Gear symbol for settings at the top of the window is an important dialogue box to ponder.
