I think I have a low speaker audio output from 6400M internal speaker?

At a level of 40 I would think that it would be blasting me across the room. It is barely enough to listen too.

A little background… last night I lost speaker audio from me Bose companion 2 speakers and only had audio from the internal front speaker in the 6400M. I had to turn it up to like 45 to 50 to hear the QSO I was involved with. I checked the power cube for the Bose speakers and found no 12 volt power. Now looking for another walwart or the power plug to plug in to the speakers. So, I am stuck with listening to the internal speaker from the radio and it sounds terrible. It has no low end or bass and yes, the eq is on, bandwidth settings start at 0 Hz to 3 Khz. Is this speaker volume supposed to be at 40 to hear it and is the quality from the speaker really that bad? I am hopping that the line out for the powered speaker on the back of the Flex is Ok. I can't determine that until I get another powered speaker setup.

I just checked the audio output on my 6600M's front speaker, I have to turn the AGC-T way up as well as the volume control to get a reasonable level of audio. Even then, it's not very loud. I could not find a listing ( wattage) for the front panel speaker's output level. Apparently, it is very low.

Power walwart fixed the problem w/ the speakers. My Bose speakers are working again…yay!
