Desire to add external monitor

I currently have the Flex-6600 and Maestro B. Is there any way to use an external monitor with this setup? Ideally, I would like to add a video output to either the 6600 or the Maestro. I am well out of the warranty period.

trade for an M model or Maestro C.

You cannot add an HDMI connector to the 6600. It is a server (serving up radio info), requiring a client (like a Maestro or SmartSDR) to be useful. Therefore, there is no mechanism to get information to an HDMI connector.

The Maestro is a client (specifically, a GUI client) that takes the information from the server (the radio) and puts it into a user viewable format. To add an HDMI port would require modification to the client software (and hardware), which users do not have access to.

Since you have a 6600 and a Maestro (assuming V3.x of the software), I would suggest putting the Maestro into SmartControl mode while simultaneously running SmartSDR on a PC. This will let you have the large screen(s) of a computer while also using the knobs and buttons on the Maestro. Check out section 9 of the Maestro documentation for info on how to do this.

This information is what I expected to get. Had to ask.

"To add an HDMI port would require modification to the client software (and hardware), which users do not have access to. Shame since it is just slightly more than a Dell Tablet.

Hi Tom, did you try my SmartControl suggestion? That might be what you are really after.

I won't get to play radio until Wed or Thurs. Working out of town. I look forward to trying what you suggest.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
