FlexRadio announces the immediate availability of SmartSDR v3.8.19.

FlexRadio highly recommends upgrading to SmartSDR v3.8.19 at your earliest convenience and strongly recommends not reverting to any previous versions of SmartSDR v3 to ensure the issues fixed in this release do not reoccur.

SmartSDR 3.8.19 is a general release and can be downloaded from the FlexRadio website. SmartSDR v3.8.19 contains important software features and bug fixes for version 3 of SmartSDR for Windows, SmartSDR for Maestro, SmartSDR for M models, SmartSDR CAT, and DAX.

As a "best practice", please download and review the SmartSDR v3.8.19 Release Notes included with every new software release before installing SmartSDR v3.8.19 on your radio.

Release Highlights for SmartSDR v3.8.19

Support for the FLEX-8000 Series SDRs: SmartSDR v3.8 is the first release to support the new FLEX-8000 series of software defined radios.

All-Voice Squelch: (all radios) All-Voice Squelch is a new feature to enhance AM, SAM USB, and LSB modes. All-voice squelch levels correspond to an absolute magnitude of signal strength received rather than a dynamic magnitude over the noise floor. The minimal signal level is -130dBm which makes it very sensitive.

The Squelch Enable and Squelch Threshold controls have been added to the FlexControl for convenient control and adjustment of the Voice Squelch feature.

Profile Updates: (all radios) We have Added new Mic Profiles for Maestro C Default
HDST Condenser and Default HDST Dynamic. 'RadioSport' has been changed to
'radiosport,' and the 'M360/EM56' options are now 'M20'. To use the new profiles, you
must restore the radio to its factory default settings.
