Expand the use of your C232HM cable to meet user needs
I have a Flex 6500, an Expert 1.3K-FA amp, and an Ameritron RCS-10 antenna switch for my 5-band quad antenna.
The manual switch controller is in my shack, while the outdoor switch is at the top of my tower (at the antenna). The switch controller sends 3-bit BCD codes to the outdoor switch. In order they are set to 10m = 101 (5), 12m = 001 (4), 15m = 110 (3), 17m = 010 (2), and 20m = 100 (1). I'd like your cable to send these codes to my antenna switch.
Your 4-bit cable responds to my VFO setting, so 20m = 0101 (5), 17m = 0110 (6), 15m = 0111 (7), 12m = 1000 (8), and 10m = 1001 (9).
Your cable responds to the code in your program. It does this properly. I'm asking if you could expand the use of your cable to respond to user needs. This cable is already programmable. This sounds like a rather easy request.
