The radio doesn't work well. The software doesn't work well

What a tremendous disappointment!

Well, is there a red x on the task bar speaker icon? If so connect a speaker or select another default.

    Or uninstall and reinstall SSDR.

See if any of that works.

The reason might be our old arch enemy Core Isolation. A PIA on laptops sometimes.

If you get the "DAX Driver Error" message after installing SmartSDR on a CLEAN Windows 10/ 11 installation, first check the "Memory Integrity" setting under "Core Isolation". If it is enabled, disable it. The DAX drivers do not need to be reinstalled, a reboot of the machine is sufficient.

There are various ways of doing this depending on the Windows version (I've helped a couple of G friends with this trouble). I do not have screenshots of their relevant settings but here is mine

This is just a possibility. The cast iron solution is to open a Help Desk ticket. Flex will sort it out for you.

There's no red X on the speaker icon.

I'm disappointed that an uninstall doesn't really uninstall everything. If I re-install, all my settings are there, etc. So if there's a bad setting, an uninstall won't help because they're still in the machine, somewhere.

    Core isolation is off.

Time to submit a help desk ticket, I would say.
