I am unable to get DAX to work on my laptop. It works fine on my desktop machine running the same v3.7.4 with the exact same version of Windows 11 Pro, with all the same settings.

I tried uninstalling it an reinstalling several times.

Now it's saying "No Stations are online. Start a client and then choose a station from the list." As you can see from the screenshot, SmartSDR is running and connected fine., the DAX button is pressed.

There are no stations listed in the Station dropdown. I'm signed in to SmartLink and SmartSDR is working fine.

Do you have a DAX channel selected in your Slice receiver drop down? When you start DAX it should show what radios are available to connect to. One other thing to check is to see if your Firewall in Windows is blocking DAX for some reason. Temporarily turn off your firewall and see if DAX sees the radio when it starts up.

I've been trying for several weeks and can't get this software to work on my Windows 11 laptop.

I can get it to work on my desktop.

I've uninstalled and re-installed about 10 times. Uninstalling is a LIE. It doesn't uninstall everything because if I run the software after a re-install it remembers my settings. I'd expect a full uninstall/reinstall to wipe the settings, too, so a person could start from a clean, known state.

There's no DAX sound device showing up in the control panel. Audio works fine out of the SDR app, but I can't get DAX to do anything,

I believe that you need to turn off core isolation for DAX to work under Win 11. If that does not help, submit a help desk ticket - Flex Support will know what to do.

It's off. I follow instructions, and read the documentation.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
