Using Hamracer Logging Software

Has anyone used Hamradio Logging Software with a Flexradio? And if so, how did you get the software to connect to the radio?

Thanks!

Hi Mark… are you referring to HRD loggoing software?

In many cases of logging software(s), you need to have a 'background' library such OmniRig or Hamlib running to facilitate the communication between the radio and the software.

This is a logging software where you can operate SSB without having to use a microphone. It uses a synthetized voice and when you enter in their call it transmits that call plus any exchange that you have so designated in the software. But in N1MM the software communicates with my flexradio on Com Port 4, and Transmit is on Com Port 6. But there doesn't seem to be a way that I can designate 2 com ports in Hamracer.

It works only with the PC sound card therefore Windows audio will take the Hamracer input and you will need to send it to DAX using a 3rd party app such as Voicemeeter. It can be done though personally I find voicemeeter confusing - just me I guess. But Mike VA3MW is the VM guru and I seem to remember he has in the past posted pictures in other threads of the VM settings to use.

Far better to use an integrated Flex compatible app such as SDC. Its contest module leaves N1MM far behind. Can also be used for everyday use.

    Erik,

There is no manual or setup guide for Hamracer. Plus, I joined their Groups.io and posted a message which has not been released by the Moderator. As for the manual Petr is working on it, but even out on their groups.io site, there really isn't much help at all about the Flexradio. Of course, the program was written back in 2017 and any help that is available is using a Serial Cable to connect your radio to your computer. Time will tell if I get any answers from Petr.
