Trackpad tuning on SSDR for Mac

I'm new to SSDR on a Mac (long time windows user). I'm finding that tuning using trackpad scrolling to be a frustrating experience. I've been playing with the settings under SmartSDR > Settings > Mouse/Trackpad. I have it set with 'Reverse' unchecked and 'Swap X/Y' checked so that scrolling up on the track pad increases the frequency and scrolling down decreases the frequency. This is the same way that scrolling/tuning works on my windows laptop.

I'm finding that when scrolling sometimes the tuning indicator does not move at all relative to the scrolling input on the track pad, and sometimes it moves quickly. Other times it doesn't seem to move and then suddenly jumps. Is this a typical experience for other users? Does anyone have any recommended settings to make tuning smoother?

BTW, I'm using a brand new Macbook Pro M3.

Maybe I just figured it out? I discovered that if I disable 'Trackpad' and instead use 'Enable Mouse Wheel" and turn the sensitivity way up, it works MUCH better.

Some of the inexpensive DJ MIDI tools, like the DJ2GO2, make excellent add-ones to SSDR Mac. And do look at the CTR2-Midi.

I have the CTR2-Midi which works well. But I wound up just mapping my left and right arrow keys to go up/down the bands.
