Having issue with 3.5.8 and 3.7.4

I have checked around to see if this was already asked. I have a home PC with 3.5.8 on it. I have a laptop that had 3.5.8 but when I connected to my FLEX 6400, It suggested I upgrade to 3.7.4. I did that. Now, when I go back to the shack PC, it was to downgrade to 3.5.8. I am kind of caught in a circular reference - upgrade here and then downgrade there...am missing something I am sure, but what?

Upgrade the PC to 3.7.4 so that everything is at the same (highest) level.

software levels in the pc and the radio must be the same.

There seemed to be some kind of an issue. When I would upgrade one, the radio wanted to go back a level. I uninstalled from the laptop and the station PC. Then I installed the station PC and made sure all was running - then I installed the laptop and all seems fine.

    Thanks!

I have several different versions installed on my PC for connecting to various radios and my support role at Flex. If you are not careful and have different versions on different PCs, you can run into the downgrade/upgrade scenario.

The key is the software will prompt you before doing an upgrade or downgrade. If you are not explicitly doing an upgrade or downgrade then that would be a notification to you that you have version mismatch between computers.
