Purchased the entire unit from Max for use with the Flex, small, simple and very effective fix to my remote cw keying of the 6600. Works as good or better than the RemoteRig lashup I had for years and takes up little to NO space.

WOW..  What a nice unit you made Max!!  I bought the SD card holder this AM and changed the micro chip programming to the local IP of the radio and Iambic keying and VIOLA! Love the built in keyer and speed control and came in very handy during the weekends cw contest.

I had a little trouble updating to the latest firmware but come to find out it wasn't the uni it was a corrupted HEX file. Max sent me a known good copy via email and I was updated in minutes from there. Thanks Max, you have been very responsive to my questions.

A new release of the *MORCONI-FLEX* system is now available for download:

    MORCONI-FLEX FIRMWARE 1.5

Updated documentation and release notes are also available.

    MORCONI-FLEX 1.5 RELEASE NOTES

This firmware update includes the following improvements:

    - Send a "C" instead of a "K" when radio and SmartSDR are connected.
    - Send a "D" if the radio or SmartSDR disconnects.
    - Changes in the ReadRadio routine to be more responsive and to avoid the radio deadlock and some hesitation while using CWX. (K9SO/G4IRN)
    - The speed control is now read only before sending an element, should improve the keying responsiveness.
    - Added Ultimatic emulation. (LB6B)

I really need some feedback on the different emulations.
Implementing the different timing logic is not simple and prone to errors.

    73, Max
